Fun Winter Date Night in Norfolk,VA

Updated: Jan 1, 2021

Here are 4 places you should go for a safe, fun, and toasty night.

Whether your visiting or a local, head to Downtown Norfolk for a fun, yummy, and affordable date night this winter! #VisitNorfolkVa

Explore the Art and Architecture Downtown

My favorite thing about going downtown is taking in all the views! From the waterside, to murals, beautiful architecture and more. The city is filled with unique shops, events, restaurants, sights, and celebrations!

Eat Dinner at The Grilled Cheese Bistro

Stay warm with a gourmet grilled cheese stacked high with meat, cheese, and more at The Grilled Cheese Bistro.

We ordered the Meathead Grilled Cheese which was even better than we imagined! Packed with smoked turkey, bacon, cheddar cheese, avocado, French fries, and house mustard (Which I got on the side and was also delicious). The Chimichurri & Parmesan fries were too die for and don't forget to try their giant fried pickles!

Go Ice skating at the MacArthur Center

75 minutes of fun on the ice

The Macarthur Center is hosting ice skating until January 18th, 2021 and has taken safety precautions by only allowing a designated amount of people on the rink every 30 minutes. We reserved our tickets at 5pm so we could skate through the sunset and watch all the lights shine downtown.

End The Night with a campfire dessert

As S'mores Amore says "Have the ultimate s'mores experience!" Enjoy this delicious modern version of s'mores with different flavors and marshmallow on top of your choice of a brownie or blondie. Then watch it get blow torched until your marshmallow is toasted to your liking!
